Spider-man was a video game released for the Atari 2600 in 1982. The game was published by Parker Brothers and designed by Laura Nikolich. The game featured Spider-man swinging through a city trying to catch and stop falling criminals and people in distress. The graphics of the game were basic and the gameplay was simple. Despite its flaws, Spider-man for Atari 2600 was regarded as a classic and it has been re-released on various platforms over the years. The game was inspired by the 1981 arcade game Spider-Man, also developed by Parker Brothers.
